So I have finally got round to writing a blog, I’ve been meaning to do this for a while now and plan to use it as more of a diary than a development blog, I hope to post stuff I’m working on or have worked on. In the first couple of posts I am going to talk about what I’ve been up to over the past year or so, a kind of 2011 summary.
A little bit about myself, my name is Adam Holland, I am a game developer and game designer (when I can). I studied MediaLab Arts (now D.A.T.) at Plymouth University, following that I got my first job making CD-ROM’s (with Lingo?!) at BAFTA award winning company Fifth Dimension for client’s such as the BBC. I left Fifth Dimension because I wanted to work with Web technology rather than CD-ROMs and so I joined the multi-award winning digital agency Bloc Media (now sadly dissolved, all that remains: http://vimeo.com/blocmedia/videos) where I worked on a range of projects; micro-sites, mini-games and banners (lots of banners :#). After 4 great years at Bloc, I joined Playerthree where I have been happily making games (and the odd screensaver here and there) for the past three years!
